About TAG

TAG Grading is a modern card grading company founded in 2020 that has rapidly become one of the fastest-growing graders in the hobby. TAG graded over 440,000 cards in 2025 alone, representing 83% year-over-year growth. Their defining innovation is a proprietary 1000-point grading scale powered by AI technology, offering far more granularity than the traditional 1-10 scale used by competitors.

TAG's grading process combines artificial intelligence with human expert review. Cards are first analyzed by TAG's AI system which measures centering, corners, edges, and surface quality with microscopic precision. Human graders then validate the AI's assessment, ensuring accuracy while maintaining the speed and consistency advantages of machine analysis.

TAG holders feature a distinctive modern design with the 1000-point score prominently displayed. The company has positioned itself as a technology-forward alternative to legacy graders, appealing to collectors who want more precise, data-driven grades. TAG also offers fast turnaround times and competitive pricing.
