Slabbed ("we", "our", "us") is a portfolio tracker for graded collectibles. This policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your information when you use our service at slabbed.app.

Information We Collect

Account Information

When you create an account, we collect your email address, display name, and authentication credentials. If you sign in with Google or Apple, we receive your name and email from those providers.

Collection Data

You provide information about your graded collectibles including grader, certification number, grade, item description, purchase price, current value, and images. This data is stored to provide the portfolio tracking service.

Usage Data

We automatically collect basic usage information including pages visited, features used, and device type to improve the service.

How We Use Your Information

• To provide and maintain the portfolio tracking service
• To display your public profile and collection (if you choose to make them public)
• To look up certification data from grading company APIs (PSA, etc.)
• To process images through our AI extraction service for slab data entry
• To send service-related communications
• To improve and develop new features

Public Profiles

If you set a username, your profile page (/@username) and any slabs in public folders are visible to anyone on the internet. Slabs not assigned to a public folder are not shown publicly. You can control visibility through folder settings.

Third-Party Services

We use the following third-party services:

• Appwrite — Authentication, database, and file storage (self-hosted)
• Google Gemini — AI image analysis for slab data extraction
• PSA API — Certification number lookups and card images
• Cloudflare — CDN and DDoS protection

We do not sell your personal information to third parties.

Data Storage and Security

Your data is stored on our self-hosted infrastructure. We use encrypted connections (HTTPS) for all data transmission. Slab images are stored in secure cloud storage buckets with access controls.

Your Rights

You can:

• Access and export all your data (Settings > Export)
• Update or correct your information at any time
• Delete your account and all associated data (Settings > Account > Delete Account)
• Control the visibility of your collection through folder privacy settings

Cookies

We use essential cookies for authentication session management. We do not use third-party tracking cookies or advertising cookies.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy from time to time. We will notify registered users of significant changes via email.
